I haven’t exactly kept it to myself that I’m not the most comfortable with the idea of Anton Lander starting this upcoming season as the team’s 4th line center. That’s why I’ll start to look at other possible options at center that the Oilers can pursue. So without further ado, who wants to see Marty Reasoner back in town?

Meeting an hour before Sam Gagner’s arbitration hearing, Craig MacTavish managed to keep Master Samwise in Oil Country for another 3 seasons and at the same time, dodge what could have been the most awkward of dances.

Oil Change: A Look at the Perron for Paajarvi Trade

A funny thing happens when you’re white water rafting in the boonies, it becomes very hard to blog about hockey (crazy right?) New Oil: Is Ference Enough?

One of the signings made by the Oilers during this year’s free agent frenzy was Edmonton-born, Andrew Ference. With the hopes of strengthening the blue line, MacT signed the defenceman to a contract of 4 years at a cap hit of $3.25 mill/per season. Is the insertion of Ference into the Oilers lineup enough to fix a defensive corps that has struggled season after season?
